Viacom has announced that all of its network outlets will go dark this Wednesday, March 14 in support of the National School Walkout against gun violence.
The blackout will occur from 10 a.m. to 10:17 a.m. and includes all Viacom TV networks along with their digital and social media platforms. The major channels affected include MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Comedy Central, TV Land, and CMT.
In lieu of programming during the blackout, a message will appear onscreen to alert viewers of this change.
